SAXLINGHAM-NETHERGATE, a parish, with a village, in Henstead district, Norfolk; 2½ miles E of Flordon r. station, and 7 S of Norwich. It has a post-office under Long Stratton. Acres, 1, 655. Real-property, £3, 669. Pop., 586. Houses, 143. The property is much subdivided. The living is a rectory, united with S.-Thorpe, in the diocese of Norwich. Value, £700.* Patron,-the Rev. J. H. Steward. The church is a fineedifice. There are a national school, and charities £80.
