WITCHLING, or Wychling, a parish in Hollingbourn district, Kent; 5½ miles S by E of Sittingbourne r. station. Post town, Sittingbourne. Acres, 1,309. Real property, £1,287. Pop., 147. Houses, 35. The manor belongs to Sir E. Filmer. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Canterbury. Value, £300.* Patron, H. M. Stockdale, Esq. The church is ancient.
