MELINE, a parish in the district of Cardigan and county of Pembroke; on the river Nevern, under Precelly mountain, 6¼ miles SW by S of Cardigan r. station. Post town, Cardigan. Acres, 4,523. Real property., £1,858. Pop., 414. Houses, 108. The property is much subdivided. An ancient camp is at Pennybenglog. ...
The living is a rectory in the diocese of St. David's. Value, £140. Patron, the Rev. D. Protheroe. The church was rebuilt in 1865; is in the decorated English style, of local stone with Bath stone dressings; and consists of nave and apsidal chancel, with W bell-gable.
