In 1870-72, John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales described Rhosbeirio like this:
RHOSBEIRIO, an extra-parochial chapelry in the district and county of Anglesey; near the coast, 3 miles W by S of Amlwch r. station. Post-town, Amlwch, Anglesey. Acres, 369. Pop., 26. Houses, 4. The living is a p. curacy, annexed to the rectory of Llaneilian, in the diocese of Bangor.
