This website exists to help people doing personal research projects on particular areas within a locality. Housing density, simplified to under 1 person per room, 1 to 1.5, and over 1.5. Data for these categories can be computed for districts in England and Wales for all censuses from 1931 onwards, but for Scotland they can only be computed for 1971 on.
