This area does not have its own entry in Youngs. However, several extra-parochial areas were created from it in 1868. Notes on those entries indicate it covered the areas which became Ashley Walk CP, Broomy CP, Burley CP, Denny Lodge CP and Rhinefield CP. The 1831 Census states 'This Area includes all the New Forest not within the reputed Boundary of any Parish, and not specially returned as Extra Parochial and entered with Area assigned thereunto.'
