Sigelai was one of the "Three Hundreds of Newport", often being grouped with Bonestou and Moulsoe, but a separate muster roll exists for the hundred from as late as 1831 (see http://www.genfair.co.uk/product_list.php?sid=40&page=7, accessed 17 July 2013), so it is unclear when it ceased to exist.According to the VCH, "Sigelai contained Bletchley, Bradwell, Calverton, Great Linford, Loughton, Newport Pagnell, Newton Longville, Shenley (part of), Simpson, Stantonbury, Stoke Hammond, Stony Stratford, Willen, Great and Little Woolstone, Wolverton and Woughton on the Green. " (http://www.british-history.ac.uk/report.aspx?compid=62582, accessed 17 July 2013).
