Although the Lewis gazetteer says "DUNGANSTOWN, a parish, in the barony of ARKLOW, county of WICKLOW … is called also Ennisboheen", Dunganstown and Ennisboheen are listed separately by the 1821 and 1831 censuses. Conversely, Ennisboheen appears in 1821 and 1831 but not later, while Kilpoole appears in 1841 and 1851 but not earlier; and the population statistics are consistent, including the bulk of the population being within the town of Wicklow in all four years.
