This unit is mentioned in several lay subsidy rolls, but not in Anderson's monograph on the hundreds of south-east England. Glasscock's location implies this unit may relate to Wilmington parish ("werlington vill") and Milton court ("milton vill") which were assigned to Longbridge hundred in the Domesday book. The coordinate given by Glasscock is next to "Alciston half hundred".
