DITCHLEY, a hamlet in Spelsbury parish, Oxford; 4½ miles NW of Woodstock. Pop., 47. Wilmot, Lord Rochester, was a native. Ditchley Park, the seat of Viscount Dillon, is a fine edifice by Gibbs; contains some old tapestry and interesting pictures: and figures in Sir Walter Scott's novel of Woodstock.
