Notes

This unit covered the part of the Ancient Parish of Kidwelly within the Borough. Although separately listed in early censuses, its exact status is unclear, but the order abolishing it describes it as a Civil Parish. The 1841 census notes that 'each Division [of the Parish of St. Mary] separately supports its own poor'. A separate AP containing the CPs of Kidwelly within and without represents the original parish.
